Project Description

Serpentine Gallery / FRIEZE

During the world’s pre-eminent art week, Serpentine Gallery, London’s most important public gallery space commissioned MDH to produce a holographic art piece for acclaimed art collective RAQS. The installation of their piece “Hollow-gram” played on the tale of “Emperor’s New Clothes” initially produced for the fourth plinth at Trafalgar Square. The piece was shown over four days during FRIEZE culminating in the world renown Art Marathon, with more than 2000 participants each year. Overall, more than 10,000 visitors enjoyed the Serpentine Galleries during the four days of FRIEZE and experienced MDH Hologram’s installation. The resulting piece is a prime example of high-end technology meeting world class artists in one of the world’s most prestigious settings for contemporary art.
